Jazzindigo is an
instrumental jazz quartet that combines the styles of soul, funk,
blues and bossa nova to their sound. Under the direction of
guitarist Bill Sickles the quartet includes saxophone/ flute, bass
and drums.
The
instrumentation can be reduced to a trio (guitar sax & bass) and
even a duo (guitar & sax or guitar & bass) depending on clients
needs.
Each player has
years of stage experience in a variety of situations including night
clubs, social events and concert halls.
The repertoire
ranges from the standards of Gershwin and Ellington to more
contemporary artists such as Stevie Wonder, The Beatles and Jimi
Hendrix.
